1. Collaborated with IIT-Bombay professor Apurba Laha, we have developed VCSEL heat-dissipating simulation design and implemention, and co-adviced student Dhiman Nag. He has been in NCTU for research for six months, has returned to India for PhD final defense. We also have co-written a paper titled “Effect of Thermal Management on the Performance of VCSELs,” published at IEEE TED.
2. Prof. Ray-Hua Horng has collaborated with Prof. Chung Han at Yale University, and published a paper at ACS Photonics 2020, 7, 8, 2228–2235, titled “High-Bandwidth Green Semipolar (20−21) InGaN/GaN Micro Light-Emitting Diodes for Visible Light Communication.”
3. Prof. Ray-Hua Horng has collaborated with Prof. Chung Han at Yale University, and published a paper at Scientific Reports, vol.10, 15966 (2020), titled“Characterization of Semi-Polar (20-21) InGaN MicroLEDs”.
4. Prof. Ray-Hua Horng has collaborated with Prof. David Look at Wright State University, and published a paper at Applied Physics Letters, titled“Electrical and optical properties of degenerate and semi-insulating ZnGa2O4: Electron /phonon scattering elucidated by quantum magnetoconductivity.”
